Description
The Hotsy Model 897SS Black Label Edition combines high pressure and hot water power, delivering 3.2 GPM at 3000 PSI for demanding industrial wash-downs. Powered by a 6.2 HP WEG slow-speed (1725 RPM) motor drawing 28 amps on a 230V 1-phase system, this belt-drive unit provides maximum torque and extended service life. Equipped with standard Auto Start/Stop, it reduces wear on the Hotsy HM3840R.3 triplex pump by shutting off the unit when the trigger gun is disengaged. Heating power is supplied by an oil-fired Beckett burner delivering 255,000 BTU/hr, encased in a durable stainless-steel coil skin. Outfitted with an hour meter to monitor maintenance, a Schedule 80 steel heating coil with a 5-year non-prorated warranty, a protective fuel tank bumper, flat-free tires, a water-tight control panel with adjustable temperature settings, a 36-foot GFCI power cord, and upstream detergent injection, this machine handles the toughest commercial cleanup jobs.
